The Latics have lined up a move for the Oman international to provide cover for Chris Kirkland after allowing Richard Kingson and Vladimir Stojkovic to leave the DW Stadium this summer. Latics boss Roberto Martinez has been linked with a number of goalkeepers this summer, but he is believed to have switched his attentions to Al Habsi. Al Habsi has been with Bolton since 2006, but he has been limited to just a handful of appearances due to No.1 Jussi Jaaskelainen's form at the Reebok Stadium. The 28-year-old is prepared to leave Bolton as he searches for regular first-team action and he is believed to be undergoing a medical before inking a two-year deal at Wigan.
