The 29-year-old Oman international was Latics' player of the season for the 2010/11 Premier League campaign having joined on loan from the Trotters, and Roberto Martinez is understandably eager to recruit him on a permanent basis. Reports on Friday suggested Wigan had made a £3million offer for Al-Habsi, having already had a £2million bid turned down. Bolton may be looking for around £5million. Aston Villa are also said to be interested in the former Lyn Oslo custodian, but with the Birmingham outfit looking for a new manager, it remains to be seen if they will firm up their interest in him.
