Last-place Serie A club Cesena has fired manager Marco Giampaolo.
The move was made moments after a 2-0 loss at Parma on Sunday left Cesena winless and with just three points from nine matches.
A statement on Cesena's website says that a new manager will be named over the next few days.
Giampaolo took over Cesena after Massimo Ficcadenti left by mutual consent at the end of last season, when Cesena finished 15th in its first Serie A campaign in 20 years.
