Lampard, Terry out of England double-header

Chelsea says Frank Lampard and John Terry will miss England's European Championship qualifiers against Bulgaria and Switzerland.
Midfielder Lampard needs a hernia operation, while Terry has a hamstring injury.
Speaking after Lampard limped off during the 2-0 win over Stoke on Saturday, Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti said the midfielder ''has started to feel pain and needs to have the operation.''
Lampard, who missed a first-half penalty against Stoke, will have surgery on Tuesday or Wednesday next week and is set to be out of action for a fortnight.
Terry's injury was reported by the Chelsea website, which said the former England captain ''would benefit from a period of rest and rehabilitation.''
England plays Group G matches against Bulgaria at Wembley on Friday and Switzerland away four days later. Manager Fabio Capello will await fitness updates from strikers Peter Crouch and Bobby Zamora.
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp said Crouch might have broken a rib, while Fulham manager Mark Hughes said Zamora could be struggling with a muscle injury.
