The England Under-21 full-back will join fellow summer recruits James Vaughan, Steve Morison, Elliott Bennett, Ritchie De Laet, Bradley Johnson and Anthony Pilkington when they return from a training camp in Germany, where Norwich play a Nordhausen/Regional Select XI on Saturday afternoon. Lambert, who has overseen successive promotions from League One and the Championship, maintains the squad is shaping up nicely. "We said we were looking for six or seven lads to come in and lend a hand in various positions and it is pleasing we have now managed to do so," Lambert told the club's official website. "Kyle will come in and join his new team-mates on Monday and the whole group can then work together on continuing our pre-season preparations." The Canaries have scored 15 goals without reply in their two warm-up matches so far. Next week will see Lambert's men play three fixtures, at Crystal Palace, Southend and Coventry, before home friendlies with Spanish side Real Zaragoza and then Italian outfit Parma ahead of their opening Premier League fixture at Wigan on August 13. Lambert believes his squad cannot get enough match action ahead of the challenges which await them in what will be a first top-flight campaign for the Norfolk club since 2005/2006. "The lads have worked really, really hard and I can't be more happy - that is all you want, to try and work hard and try and be ready for that Wigan game," he said. "I think the new lads have integrated very well with the lads that were already here and they seem a really strong group, and we are going to need that togetherness in the coming season."
