Ki confused by Swansea slump

Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng is confused as to why the Welsh club have hit a sudden dip in form.

The Swans were on fire in their opening fixtures, casting aside London outfits Queens Park Rangers and West Ham, scoring eight goals in the process.

They have since picked up only a point and currently sit 11th in the Premier League after losing 2-0 at Stoke City on Saturday.

Ki said: "I think we're just a little confused because we won the first two games and now we're starting to lose them. It's important we don't get used to losing."

Recent defeats have come against Everton and Stoke - a game in which Ki believes Swansea struggled to cope physically.

"It's not always easy to deal with this kind of game because Stoke have big boys.

"We know how to play football but sometimes we have been struggling physically."

Swansea and boss Michael Laudrup now need to analyse what went wrong and look to improve quickly.

Ki added: "The boss didn't say anything after the game, maybe he'll talk on Monday."
