Stuttgart defender Khalid Boulahrouz has a broken toe and will be out for about four weeks.
The Dutch international defender broke the big toe on his left foot in a battle for the ball with teammate Christian Gentner in training Wednesday.
Boulahrouz says the injury leaves him ''very bitter but I am now going to focus on my rehab.''
He could miss up to six matches during the month on the sidelines.
