Socceroos midfielder Harry Kewell is prepared to go without a basic wage to return to Australia if an A-League club is willing to sign him on a revenue-sharing deal for the extra crowds and sponsorship he attracts.

Kewell's manager Bernie Mandic told Melbourne radio on Wednesday that Kewell, who is off contract with Turkish club Galatasaray, was interested in playing for an A-League team under certain conditions. Media reports have so far linked the former Liverpool and Leeds star with the Melbourne Victory, Sydney FC or the defending A-League champion Brisbane Roar.

Mandic said several clubs ''have been impressed with the integrity'' of the offer by the 32-year-old Kewell, who has scored 16 goals for Australia in 54 matches.
