Kenny issues Carroll warning

England boss Fabio Capello will have watched with interest as Carroll made his first start for Liverpool in their Europa League second leg clash with Braga on Thursday.
The £35million man had previously been struggling with a groin injury which had kept him out of action since the back end of last year.
Capello will name his squad for a European Championship qualifying match against Wales next Saturday after the latest round of Premier League fixtures, with a friendly against Ghana to follow a week on Tuesday.
Carroll, 22, impressed on his international debut against France in November and it is expected Capello will again elect to call upon the powerful front man.
Dalglish is happy to co-operative with the national side but has urged Capello to be sensible in the way that his player is employed over the two matches.
"I don't know if Fabio wants to pick him or not, but there is no point in us being as guided as we have been in his recuperation and doing such a good job to get him to where he is now if someone else is going to waste all that," Dalglish said.
"England have to be responsible with him. It is not a case of going to war with anyone.
"We fully understand somebody wanting to pick his best players for England, but they also have to understand the fact that is he is not really there yet for fitness."
