Juventus' Krasic banned two games for diving

Juventus winger Milos Krasic was banned for two matches by the Italian league Tuesday for diving to earn a penalty in his club's 0-0 draw at Bologna over the weekend.
The league judge examined TV replays before issuing the ban, which rules Krasic out of a potentially crucial match against AC Milan on Saturday.
Juventus was awarded a controversial penalty in the 34th minute of Sunday's match when the Serbia midfielder fell to the ground after hardly a touch from defender Daniele Portanova.
Vincenzo Iaquinta's ensuing spot kick was saved by Bologna goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano.
Krasic will also miss a game against Cesena on Nov. 7 according to the suspension, although Juventus said it will lodge an appeal on Wednesday.
Earlier Tuesday, Juventus president Andrea Agnelli said Krasic was being unfairly attacked in the media, although he acknowledged that there was no foul.
Several players have been banned for diving with the use of TV replays before in Italy, notably Adriano with Inter Milan and Marcelo Zalayeta with Napoli in 2007, while Alberto Gilardino received a two-game ban in 2008 for scoring a goal with his hand.
Krasic has quickly become one of Juve's top players since joining the 27-time Serie A champions from CSKA Moscow in August in a ?15 million ($19 million) transfer.
He scored a hat trick for Juventus in a 4-2 win over Cagliari last month and came off the bench and scored a second-half equalizer in a 1-1 draw with Salzburg in the Europa League last week.
