According to media reports in Italy on Monday, 60-year-old Del Neri is set to leave after just one season with Samp, whom he guided to a fourth-place finish in Serie A this season. Samp will play in the play-off round of the Champions League while Juve will have to settle for a Europa League spot. Del Neri is considered the number one candidate to replace the departed Alberto Zaccheroni in the Juve hotseat. Benitez has previously been strongly linked with a move to Turin.
