Jovanovic may leave in January

The Serbia international joined the Reds as a free agent over the summer but has struggled to make an impact at Anfield. He has tumbled down the pecking order under Roy Hodgson and has found first-team opportunities increasingly difficult to come by. Now, just six months into his spell in England, he is weighing up his options ahead of the re-opening of the transfer window. The 29-year-old's representative claims there is plenty of interest in a forward who shone at the 2010 World Cup and insists he would have no problem finding new employers. Cvijan Milosevic says Jovanovic's preferred option would be to stay at Liverpool and prove his worth, but admits he will have no choice but to seek a move if his situation does not improve. He said in The People: "He wants to prove what he can do but if he remains a reserve by the end of the month his plans could change. "Retuning to Belgium (where he previously turned out for Standard Liege) is not a priority - there is interest in him from clubs in Germany, Spain and Holland."
