Japan's Zaccheroni names squad for Argentina match

Nine European-based players including CSKA Moscow midfielder Keisuke Honda and Catania striker Takayuki Morimoto were picked on Thursday for Japan's friendly against Argentina next week.
The match on Oct. 8 at Saitama Stadium will mark the debut of Alberto Zaccheroni as Japan manager.
"You don't need me to tell you about the quality of players Argentina has," Zaccheroni said. "We must respect them but we have nothing to be afraid of."
The 57-year-old Italian took over from Takeshi Okada, who stepped down after leading Japan to the round of 16 at the World Cup in South Africa in June.
Zaccheroni watched wins against Paraguay and Guatemala this month from the stands as his work visa had not been issued.
