Jansson coy over Spurs future
Jansson joined the North London club back in January 2007 after being spotted in action for his local Swedish club Karlslunds. However, the Under-21 International is uncertain about his future under manager Harry Redknapp after failing to make an impact. And, after loan spells at Exeter and Northampton, Jansson is now keeping his options open, despite the club willing to extend the player's current deal. Jansson told Fotbollskanalen.se: "My contract at Tottenham comes to an end in July but the club have told me that they want me to stay and have offered me an extension." But the Swede has remained coy over his future, adding: "I can't say that I have anything to add, just that I've had a few offers and that's all I can say. "All that matters to me is to get some time on the pitch. That's all that you want really, to play as much as possible. That's what's important now. "I will keep all doors open. Now it's my holiday. It sounds a bit boring, but that's the way it is."
