Everton captain Phil Jagielka could be sidelined for up to four weeks with a hamstring injury.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez said the England defender picked up the injury during a loss to Sunderland on Boxing Day in the Premier League. Jagielka missed his team's 2-1 home victory over Southampton on Sunday.
Martinez said Jagielka's problem was related to the busy playing schedule over the past month and said ''when you have the number of games we play, it is understandable.''
