Having travelled 8000 kilometers (5000 miles) to face its city rival AC Milan in this weekend's Italian Super Cup, Inter Milan will be aiming to improve on its previous result in Beijing two years ago.
On that occasion, Inter lost 2-1 to Lazio in the Super Cup at the Bird's Nest Olympic stadium; the venue for Saturday's match.
Inter's new manager Gian Piero Gasperini told SNTV: ''we are here to try to win the Super Cup that Inter could have taken home two years ago in Beijing. And to play against AC Milan makes the event even more prestigious.''
Inter Milan and AC Milan share the record in the Super Cup - played between Serie A champion and Italian Cup winner - with both having won it five times.
