Islanders edge Toluca on late goals

David Horst scored two late goals to lift the Puerto Rico Islanders to a 3-2 victory over Mexico's Toluca on Wednesday in a Group D match in the CONCACAF Champions League. The win improved the Islanders to eight points and increased their chances of making the quarterfinals.

Horst's headers in the 70th minute and in injury time sealed the comeback win. Mancilla put the Mexican side ahead 2-0 with goals in the 10th and 23rd.

Toluca has seven in five matches. The sixth and final round of group games is Oct. 19-21.
