Ireland hosts France on Saturday in the first leg of the teams' World Cup playoff and coach Giovanni Trapattoni isn't counting on his team beating the former world champions for the first time in 28 years.

A shootout will decide which of the sides go to next year's tournament if they are level after Wednesday's second match and Trapattoni has had his players practicing penalty kicks since they met up for training on Tuesday.
