Inter Milan have defended their lack of activity in this summer's transfer market.
Last season's treble winning-team brought in youngsters Felipe Coutinho and Jonathan Biabiany as the only additions made by Inter but did not make any significant additions to the squad.
Inter club administrator Ernesto Paolillo said: "We have already a team of great champions.
"We decided to keep our attention on (balancing)our books and deciding not to spend uselessly."

Inter's new coach Rafael Benitez had wanted to sign his former players at Liverpool, Dutch international Dirk Kuyt and Argentina's Javier Mascherano.
However, Kuyt remained at Liverpool while Mascherano left Anfield to join Barcelona last month.
