Central defender Mats Hummels will Germany's friendly against the United States and the European Championship against Gibraltar.
The German Football Federation (DFB) says the Borussia Dortmund defender has been nursing a hip injury for weeks.

Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng will also miss Wednesday's match against the Americans in Cologne but will be available for Saturday's match against Gibraltar in Faro, Portugal.
The federation did not give a reason for Boateng's late arrival.
