Hoffenheim striker Vedad Ibisevic has been banned for three German Cup games for insulting a referee.
Ibisevic was sent off in Hoffenheim's 1-0 win at Ingolstadt in the second round on Wednesday. If Hoffenheim advances in the competition, Ibisevic would not be available until the final.
The Bosnia forward is available for Sunday's Bundesliga game against Hannover but coach Ralf Rangnick says Ibisevic will not be in the starting 11 because "he is not in form."
