Hoffenheim goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has been ruled out for the rest of the season after breaking a bone in his left hand.
Coach Markus Gisdol says Gomes will be out for between eight to 10 weeks after breaking a metacarpal bone in the 3-0 win over Fortuna Duesseldorf in the Bundesliga on Friday.
Gomes joined Hoffenheim until the end of the season on loan from Tottenham after former Germany goalkeeper Tim Wiese was dropped following an alarming dip in form.
Back-up `keeper Koen Casteels is expected to be supported by next choice Jens Grahl for Hoffenheim's six remaining league games
