Hodgson: Odemwingie needs help

The 30-year-old was top scorer for the Baggies last season with 15 league goals and he is set to return to action against Norwich on Sunday following an ankle injury which has restricted him to one substitute appearance, against Chelsea this season. However after three straight league defeats Hodgson wants his other players to share the burden as Albion look to pick up their first points of the season. He said: "Peter's a special type of player, and it will be a lift getting him back on the pitch. "I can see no reason why he can't come in and perform as he did last season but we must be careful not to put too much pressure on his shoulders. "He was top scorer last term but it's up to everyone to create chances, perform and get some points on the board. "Projections are made from what has happened in the first few games - but we mustn't panic."
