Argentina forward Gonzalo Higuain will miss next week's friendly against Saudi Arabia after picking up a left-leg injury this week with Real Madrid in a Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund.
The Argentine Football Association confirmed the withdrawal but did not say who would replace Higuain.
Argentina plays Saudi Arabia on Wednesday in Riyad and the absence of Higuain will be a disappointment to local fans. Higuain, Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero have combined up front to give Argentina one of the most potent forward lines in world football.
