Their 5-0 hammering at Bolton just before the international break may still be in their minds when they return to prepare for Saturday's visit of QPR but Higginbotham believes recent results should not cloud the progress made. They may have slipped to 12th in the table after defeats to Bolton, Newcastle and Arsenal but during that time they beat Macabbi Tel Aviv to move to the brink of qualification for the Europa League knockout stages having already beaten Liverpool and drawn against Chelsea and Manchester United in the league. "We can't forget the fact we have had a very good start to the season," Higginbotham told the The Sentinel. "We have had a few disappointing results recently, but by and large it has been a good start. We have had set-backs before and bounced back. Now we have to make sure we do that again."
