Manager John Hughes has left Hibernian after the team's poor start to the Scottish Premier League season.
A 2-0 loss at St. Johnstone on Saturday left Hibernian with just five points from its first seven matches during Hughes' second season in charge.
Hibernian qualified for the Europa League in May, but went out in the third qualifying round in August.
Hibernian announced Monday that Hughes was leaving ''by mutual consent.''
