Attacking midfielder Marek Hamsik has extended his contract with Napoli to the 2014-15 season.
The 23-year-old Hamsik was Slovakia's captain at this year's World Cup. He recently began his fourth season with Napoli, having begun his Serie A career with Brescia.
Hamsik says he's very comfortable with Napoli and that he loves the city.
Napoli president and film producer Aurelio De Laurentiis said Hamsik's extension ''shows that Napoli wants to grow together with its talented players.''
