West Ham has been heavily fined after being found guilty of breaching Football Association rules following crowd violence at the club's League Cup match against Millwall.

The FA's regulatory commission ruled Friday that the relegation-threatened Premier League club must pay a 115,000-pound ($187,000) fine.

West Ham was found guilty failing to ensure that supporters refrained from violent behavior and failing to prevent them from coming onto the pitch.

Millwall was cleared of all charges stemming from the match in August.

A Millwall fan was stabbed outside Upton Park and 64 arrests were made.
