Hamburg has extended veteran goalkeeper Frank Rost's contract by a
year until the end of next season.
Hamburg coach Bruno Labbadia said Monday that the 36-year-old
Rost is a "strong support" in play and a major asset off the field
as well.
Hamburg went into the Bundesliga's winter break in fourth
place, four points behind leader Bayer Leverkusen.
