Gunners and Reds chasing Chile winger

The agent of in-demand Chile international Eduardo Vargas claims Arsenal and Liverpool are among the clubs chasing his client's signature.
The 22-year-old Universidad de Chile winger is hotly tipped to be on his way to Europe in the New Year, with a clutch of clubs thought to be readying January bids.
Italian giants AC Milan and Inter Milan have already opened talks, while a number of sides in England could also be set to make their move.
Arsenal and Liverpool are reported to have already expressed an interest, but there may be others to follow.
Vargas's representative admits discussions with potential suitors are ongoing, but insists no agreement has been reached as yet.
"The clubs are speaking a lot but little progress has been made," Diego Cativa told supervasco.com.
"We are talking with AC Milan and Inter Milan, who have made proposals, as well as with Liverpool, Arsenal and a number of other clubs.
"Interest from Vasco de Gama? They cannot compete with the clubs that are already interested."
