Gonzalez out of Marseille's Champions League game

Marseille playmaker Lucho Gonzalez will miss next week's Champions League game against FC Zurich after twisting his ankle in a French league match. Gonzalez, who joined Marseille from FC Porto for ?18 million ($25 million) during the offseason, picked up his injury in Marseille's 1-1 draw against Toulouse on Saturday. "He will undergo further medical tests on Monday but it looks like it's less serious than expected," Marseille doctor Christophe Baudot said. "With this kind of injury, he could be sidelined up to four weeks." Gonzalez already missed several games earlier this season after fracturing his left collarbone. The 28-year-old Gonzalez has played 43 games for Argentina, scoring six times. He tore the meniscus in his left knee in a Champions League match against Manchester United in April.
