World Cup-winning midfielder Gilberto Silva will play in Brazil again after nine seasons in Europe.

The former Arsenal and Panathinaikos player has reached a deal with Gremio until the end of 2012.

The 34-year-old Gilberto Silva was a starter for Brazil when it won the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan. He also played in the 2006 and 2010 tournaments.

Gilberto Silva says he ''couldn't be more motivated'' and he feels like he is 20 years old again.
