Getafe says Luis Garcia Plaza will be the new coach of the Spanish topflight club.
The Madrid-based team announced on Wednesday that the former Levante coach would be officially presented the following day.
Spanish media reports that the deal is for three years.
Garcia Plaza spent the last three years coaching Levante, which was promoted in 2010 and finished 15th in its first season back in the top flight.

Last season, Getafe escaped being relegated in the final round.
