BARCELONA, Spain (AP) Getafe forward Angel Lafita scored one goal and set up another to help his team beat Villarreal 2-0 in the Spanish league on Sunday.
Lafita scored from a solo effort to give the hosts the lead in the 21st minute, and he passed to the far post for Alvaro Vazquez to seal the win in the 51st.
Villarreal was without several injured players and it lost Spain right back Mario Gaspar to an apparent leg injury in the second half.
Getafe ended a four-game winless run and rose four points above the relegation zone.
