Thomas Muller is hoping that a dead leg sustained playing for Germany against Spain will not keep him out of Bayern Munich's clash with Hoffenheim on Saturday.

The 25-year-old was withdrawn after just 22 minutes following a collision with Sergio Ramos in Vigo and was replaced by Karim Bellarabi.

However, Muller is optimistic that the problem is not too serious and will not prevent him from taking to the field for his club.

"I hope it is not too serious, it's bleeding," he told Ruhr Nachrichten.

Coach Joachim Low added: "I think he will be fine in a few days."

Muller is set to undergo further examinations on the injury when he returns to Munich on Thursday.

Bayern lead the Bundesliga by four points ahead of taking on Hoffenheim at the Allianz Arena.
