Football fan and German Chancellor Angela Merkel plans to attend the first all-German Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich on May 25 at Wembley.
Asked during a Berlin conference Thursday whether she would go, Merkel replied: ''I think I'm coming, yes.''
Merkel would not say which team she preferred.
Asked whether she would support Bayern (which plays in red, the main opposition party's color) or Dortmund (which plays in black and yellow, the governing coalition parties' colors), Markel said: ''I'm German chancellor and I'm saying Germany. And I'll be very safe saying that next week.''
