Midfielder Christian Gentner will return to Stuttgart when his
contract with Wolfsburg expires at the end of the season.
Gentner left Stuttgart after the club won the Bundesliga
title in 2007. At Wolfsburg, he won the championship last season
and became a national team member.
The 24-year-old midfielder has played four games for Germany.
The transfer was announced Friday by both clubs.
