Games to Watch: Crucial derby dominate this weekend's agenda

The race for La Liga and the Manchester derby dominate this weekend's games to watch. Real Madrid will aim to close the gap on leaders Barcelona, and hope Luis Enrique's side slip up at Sevilla. Meanwhile, United and City face each other in the Manchester derby on Sunday, with Manuel Pellegrini aware he needs to halt City's alarming slump in form since the turn of the year. Here's a rundown on the top matches to watch this weekend:

La Liga: Real Madrid vs. Eibar (live, Saturday, 10 a.m. ET):

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti can call on Cristian Ronaldo for Saturday's La Liga clash against Eibar after the Portuguese star won his appeal against a booking for diving during Los Blancos' 2-0 victory at Rayo Vallecano in midweek. The yellow card meant Ronaldo had reached five bookings for the season and would have had to serve an automatic one-match suspension, but the World Player of the Year -- who scored five goals against Granada last weekend in Real's 9-1 victory -- will now be available as Real look to close the four-point gap on leaders Barcelona.

Premier League: Burnley vs. Arsenal (live, Saturday, 12:30 p.m. ET):

Arsenal travel to Burnley in great form after seven wins in a row in the Barclays Premier League with Arsene Wenger's men currently second in the table. The Gunners are seven points behind leaders Chelsea, so a late bid for the title looks unlikely. Wenger will want Arsenal's winning run to continue with their FA Cup semifinal against Reading at Wembley coming up the following weekend. For Burnley, boss Sean Dyche will hope Turf Moor is rocking for this clash against one of the Premeir League's big guns. Burnley are two points from safety and they need wins quickly if they are to pull clear of the drop zone.

Premier League: Manchester United vs. Manchester City (live, Sunday, 11 a.m. ET):

Louis van Gaal's United face City in the Manchester derby and the Red Devils are certainly the form team, winning their last five matches to climb above City in the table. Robin van Persie is set to miss the clash with an ankle injury he suffered against Swansea but Wayne Rooney has been firing on all cylinders since he was moved back up front from midfield. By contrast, City are in something of a slump, with recent defeats away to Liverpool, Burnley and Crystal Palace in the Premier League. Manuel Pellegrini knows he must halt the slide quickly.

Major League Soccer: Los Angeles Galaxy vs. Seattle Sounders (live on FOX Sports 1, Sunday, 7 p.m. ET):

The Los Angeles Galaxy need to get back to winning ways after two successive defeats following a win and two draws in their first three matches. The Galaxy will look to skipper Robbie Keane to help get them back on track and the striker already has two goals to his name. Seattle have played one match less, with two wins, one draw and one defeat so far this season. Former Fulham and Tottenham striker Clint Dempsey has three goals so far this campaign and could be the difference between the two sides come Sunday night.
