Newly promoted Eintracht Frankfurt has bolstered its defense before the next Bundesliga season by signing goalkeeper Kevin Trapp and defender Stefano Celozzi.
Frankfurt said Monday that both players arrive on free transfers, Trapp signing a four-year deal with Celozzi agreeing a two-year contract after his switch from Stuttgart.
Trapp made his Bundesliga debut last year but was unable to prevent Kaiserslautern's relegation.
Frankfurt, which was relegated from the Bundesliga last season, secured promotion at the first attempt by finishing runner-up in the second division.
