Football Federation Australia says former Oceania Football Confederation vice president George Dick has died. He was 81.

Scottish-born Dick migrated to New Zealand where he was selected to play for the national team, but did not make an appearance, the FFA said Thursday. He moved to Australia in 1960 and held administrative positions locally before becoming project manager for the FIFA World Youth Cup in Australia in 1993.

Besides his OFC vice-presidency duties, he also held administrative positions with FFA until 2006 and was inducted in Australia's Football Hall of Fame in 2008.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma, and three sons.
