American midfielder Benny Feilhaber ended a 1 1/2-month layoff
caused by an ankle injury, entering as a second-half substitute in
AGF Aarhus' 4-0 league loss to Esbjerg on Wednesday night.
The 25-year-old from UCLA came into the game in the 69th
minute, his first appearance since damaging cartilage in an ankle
during training on Feb. 15. The Brazilian-born Feilhaber had gone
to Rio de Janeiro for rehabilitation.
Feilhaber has two goals in 31 international appearances and
hopes to make the U.S. World Cup roster. He played all five U.S.
games at last year's Confederations Cup.
