Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas escaped unhurt after being involved in a minor car accident on his way to training on Monday.
The Metropolitan Police said two cars collided on the A41 in north London, close to Arsenal's training ground, but no one involved in the accident required hospital treatment.
''After the incident, Cesc made his way to our training ground in London Colney and took part in a training session as normal,'' Arsenal said.
The 23-year-old Fabregas, who joined the club in 2003, started on the bench for Arsenal in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Blackburn in the Premier League after returning from a hamstring injury.
