Former Yugoslavia star Dragan Dzajic has pleaded not guilty to fraud charges in the sale of Nemanja Vidic and four other Red Star Belgrade players to foreign clubs.

Prosecutors have accused former Red Star president Dzajic and the club's two other ex-officials of illegally receiving about ?10 million ($13.7 million) from the deals.

The investigation included the sale of former Red Star defender Vidic to Spartak Moscow in 2004. In January 2006, Vidic moved from Spartak to Manchester United.

The 65-year-old Dzajic is the former Yugoslavia's most capped player, with 85 appearances as a left winger in the 1960s and 70s.
