Samuel Eto'o scored twice to lead Cameroon over Togo 2-1 Saturday and improve its chances of qualifying for next year's World Cup.

Ivory Coast didn't miss Didier Drogba in a 3-0 win over Gambia, and African champion Nigeria needed a goal by Nnamdi Oduamadi in the second minute of second-half injury time for a 1-1 tie against visiting Kenya.

The last World Cup host, South Africa, still has a chance of making it to Brazil next year following a 2-0 win over the Central Africa Republic.

Tunisia improved to 3-0 with a 2-1 win at home against Sierra Leone.
