The third-place team qualifies for the group stage of next season's Champions League. The fourth-place finisher, which could be Arsenal, Chelsea or Tottenham, would go to the Champions League playoff round in August.
Chelsea is scheduled to play exhibitions against Manchester City at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on May 23 and at Yankee Stadium in New York two days later.
