Englishman with secnd tier Norwegian club Gjovik-Lyn found dead

A Norwegian second division football club says its English midfielder Thomas Andrew Morgan has been found dead.

Gjovik-Lyn said Wednesday on its website that the 23-year-old was found late Tuesday in the Hunnselva river i Gjovik, just north of Oslo. The cause of death was not immediately known.

The club said Morgan was not only ''a great football player, but also as an exceptionally good man.''

Morgan who joined the Gjovik-Lyn on Jan. 1, after stints with other Norwegian clubs, was reported missing Sunday after a night out.
