USA striker Robbie Findley has warned England they can cause them problems "all over the pitch" in Saturday's World Cup clash in Rustenburg.

Findley and Edson Buddle impressed as a forward combination during the USA's 3-1 win over Australia in their final warm-up international.

Buddle scored a brace, his first goals for his country after seeing a promising career affected by various injury problems.

But Findley believes England will have more to contend with than just their contribution.

He feels the US have been gradually improving in the build-up to the tournament.

Findley said: "From the first warm-up matches, we just wanted to build and build.

"We did well in Turkey, got the win there, and have done some good stuff out here as well.

"It is just about taking those steps forward and getting ready for next weekend and we are in good shape for that match.

"We can cause England problems. We scored some great goals against Australia and, when Josmer (Jozy Altidore) gets healthy, he is just as dangerous.

"It is not just up front, it is all over. If the midfield get an opportunity, they can put goals away as well."

Findley is confident Buddle will grow in stature after his double against Australia.

He said: "Those goals will be a big boost to him. He has been playing well back in LA with his club (Los Angeles Galaxy ).

"The competition is tough and everyone is working hard and everyone wants to be on the field against England."

Buddle added: "Those goals will give me confidence going into the first match.

"Being on the score-sheet gives a lot of confidence to a forward and I am proud of myself.

"My partnership with Robbie is going to take some time to gel but we don't have a lot of time.

"But it has felt good out there with him. I am a target player and he is a pacy player and it is easy to find him over the top."
