UEFA's marketing partner has sold television rights to qualifying matches for the 2018 World Cup and 2016 European Championship to the European Broadcasting Union.
UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino says the deal struck by CAA Eleven covers 30 European countries. The EBU then has to split the games with its member broadcasters.
The sale doesn't include Europe's biggest television markets, including England, where rights are being marketed separately in national deals.
It's the first major sale since UEFA decided to sell its newly centralized rights to all qualifying matches, plus the Euro 2016 final tournament.

Infantino says they are also ''very close'' to a deal in the United States.
