Dzsudzsak double earns PSV win

Dzsudzsak put the visitors ahead after 25 minutes but PSV were put on the back foot following the sending-off of Jonathan Reis seven minutes later for an elbow on Alje Schut. A resolute defensive display from Fred Rutten's men was rewarded when Dzsudzsak made it 2-0 after 75 minutes. Ola Toivonen was fouled in the box by Jacob Lensky - an offence for which Lensky was also shown a red card - and Dzsudzsak made no mistake from the spot. Substitute Frank Demouge pulled one back with nine minutes to go but PSV held on to close the gap on leaders and defending champions Twente, who beat Excelsior 3-1 yesterday. Ajax slipped off the pace though after a shock 1-0 loss at home to ADO Den Haag. Wesley Verhoek scored the only goal a minute before the break. Roda JC were denied victory at Feyenoord by Luc Castaignos' late strike for the home side. Mads Junker put fifth-placed Roda ahead after 24 minutes but Castaignos levelled for the Rotterdammers with just three minutes to go. Vitesse Arnhem and AZ Alkmaar also finished 1-1. Graziano Pelle scored for AZ two minutes into the second half but Ismail Aissati netted a last-gasp equaliser for Vitesse.
