Dzeko considering leaving Wolfsburg

Edin Dzeko, one of the Bundesliga's top scorers over the past two
years, is considering leaving Wolfsburg at the end of the season.
The Bosnia international told Wolfsburger Allgemeine
newspaper he is ready for the next step in his career.
Wolfsburg won the Bundesliga title last year but will not
qualify for European competition next season.
"That's very disappointing. We were champions, Champions
League, Europa League and now nothing next season," Dzeko told the
newspaper.
Dzeko scored 26 goals in the Bundesliga last season and has
20 this year, with two games remaining.
"I didn't want to think about a transfer in the past few
months because that would have been unprofessional," Dzeko said.
"My goal was always to play in a big club, I hope no one will be
angry with me because of that in Wolfsburg.
"If I go, I will miss a lot of things. It wouldn't be easy.
And if it happens, it will be only because it's better for my
football future," Dzeko told the paper.
